A 2002 West Coast Music Award nominee for Best Children’s Release, the Yukon’s own Lana Rae is a unique singer, songwriter, performer, mother and teacher all rolled into one creative force.

The desire to write children’s music came naturally through her involvement with her own children and her work as a school teacher. Long road trips up and down Canadian highways became an ideal setting for writing and practicing new songs.

Blending children's themes with contemporary pop, country and rock, her music guarantees to capture the imagination of children, parents and the young at heart. Her versatility and passion for music will leave young and ‘young at heart’ tapping their toes.
