Magician, escape artist and quick thinker–Ron Pearson will amaze and beguile you with his skill, wit and humour. Known for bringing sleight of hand magic into the 21st century and for his "cutting edge illusion”, Ron was awarded the Order of Houdini in 1998. He performs 'traditional magic' with no trick boxes, no smoke and no mirrors: just pure sleight of hand–the most challenging and amazing of the magical arts; a magical experience with no margin for mistake. Hilarious and amazing, this gentle trickster will spellbind audience members as they experience magic happening in their own hands. Ron Pearson has made his living as a performer for over 15 years. He has toured with festivals and as a solo performer nationally and internationally. He represented Canada as a performer at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England. While there he performed at the Royal National Theatre, the Leeds Rhythms of the City Festival, the Stockton International Riverside Festival, and Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
